1. Why does my motorcycle battery keep dying even after charging it?

I ride a Honda 125, and my battery dies again within 2–3 days even after getting it charged. Im not using any extra lights o r accessories. Could it be a charging issue from the bike o r is the battery itself faulty?

If your battery keeps dying even after charging, it’s likely due to one of the following reasons:

Battery is old o r defective – Most bike batteries in Pakistan last 1.5 to 2 years. If it’s older, it may no longer hold charge.

Faulty charging system – Your bike’s alternator or magneto may not be charging the battery properly while riding. This is common in bikes with worn wiring o r faulty regulators.

Parasitic drain – Some motorcycles, especially HS bikes with alarms o r digital meters, may keep drawing power even when off.

Get the battery tested at a mechanic. They can also check the charging voltage should be around 13.5–14.5V while the engine is running. If not, the problem may be with the bikes electrical system, not just the battery.
