1. Why is my Kia Sorentos steering making a clunking noise when turning at low speeds?

I own a 2016 Kia Sorento in Islamabad, and recently I’ve started hearing a clunking o r knocking sound when I turn the steering wheel, especially at low speeds o r when parking. A few mechanics mentioned it could be the steering rack o r column issue, which they say is common in Sorento due to rough roads and potholes. Has anyone else in Pakistan faced this issue? What are the most common causes and solutions?
