2002 C-320 Issue

All of a sudden my 2002 C-320's battery died. So I bought another one and installed it, ran fine for couple of days and now the battery died again. My car is out of warranty, so I dont wana spend $1000 just to get it checked, if you guys can help out I will really appreciate it...Sameer bhai I need ur expertiese here...

I have heard abt a common problem with the seat regulators, I have unplugged both passenger and driver side modules but still i have to jump start it every day....suggestions???

i don't know of a battery regulator software problem on the W202 or W203 however the problem is there in the W211. i'm stumped if you have already tried the regulators (seat control modules) since they are the standard items which cause problems (and you can tell if they are faulty since they are usually hot all the time). The advice on the merc forums i host says that you shoudl replace the modules (though they are expensive)

Appart from that my honest opinion is to get the error codes read by an independant (MB qualified) mechanic and let me know what he says (would have loved to help you but since the car isn't in front of me it'l be hard to diagnose from here). I'm sure if it is not th emodules then you have a darainage problem and it's best you take the car to a specialist ASAP or you'll end up having to spend much more in a few days.
