2010 1.8 Altis Pinging/Knocking Under Load o r Acceleration
AOA.
You know I have the Altis AT 1.8 L 2010 and I have this car, which produces clearly a pinging o r knocking noise when I speed it up. When I accelerate it and it speeds up then it does not give the noise at the high revolutions but when more people are in the car, it produces more noise.
I changed the iridium plugs and changed the coils but no difference. Then I decided to change oil 1k kms ago and I switched from Zic 10-40 to Castrol Magnatec 10-40. Extracted and cleaned VVTI solenoid with carb cleaner and also cleaned the MAF sensor, purge valve/canister and cleaned the intake with carb cleaner
and got exhaust checked.
I have done almost all of the things and know what you suggest me to do before accepting that engine can be cased.
I consulted with Google and it said to check the PCV valve too. I got tired now of checking everything and not making a difference. The engine has already run over 220k and this is not an obvious sign of the bad performance of this car.

Actually, there can be various reasons for the kind of noise/rattling that you are experiencing. There can be guesswork only till a competent mechanic diagnoses it with the proper tools.
