2ZZ-GE anyone?

Hello,

Just needed to know if anyone in Pakistan is still running the 2ZZ-GE engine from toyota?

Brief Info:

Toyota offered this 1.8L engine in a number of their cars around the world but the considerable ones among them were Corollas. The engine produced 142kw or 190bhp approximately. But unfortunately they had to discontinue its production in 2003-04 due to some emission issues.

This engine for sure would kill a 4AGE

The combustion chamber has an optimised shape to minimise detonation. That and the ECU is a lot more advanced than the 4A-GEs unit and can take into account many more variables to control knock.
