6G74 Rough Idling

I've just had the spark plugs changed, but my engine is still idling quite rough. Its not just idle, at times the RPM goes up to 1500 and stays there, at other times it drops below 400 and then shoots up again. Any clues whats wrong?
FLi-Gti, good to see u back, thats the only reason im posting here, any ideas?! last time i saw an EFI with rough idling, that was due to a dirty throttle body. reckon same here? the engines on a pajero. its the DOHC version (not the Mivec, unfortunately).

im facing the same problem on my honda city RPM fluctuates between 4-500 and 1500 and sometime it drops so low the car stalls...some help here experts??
