A Technical Question!

I may sound stupid but this question is really circulating through my mind for a couple of days. Home AC or Splits work on electricity. Now isn't there any way that a car AC takes its power from the alternator and battery? It would definitely result in not putting load on engine and most cars heat up problem with AC would be solved.

Well acctually ur thought is not far away from reality. Manfacturer already working on this just lilke power steering now we have electronic power steering tha saves fual and puts less load on engine so as the demand for fuel efficient vehicles increase soon you will see car a/c running on car electric system.


We will only see alternator running on the engine other than that nothin
