A tragedy with .....

Hey Guyz a tragedy happened with me and my Mehran.it happened dat i was taking my car up hill and it was in 3rd gear and very slowly moving so i shifted de gear to 2nd gear nd suddenly my car turned off.i started it and tried to move it again in 1st gear but it didnt moved i tried once more but no result so i brought it back in reverse and from that day car iz nt moving front in any gear whether 1 2 3 or 4 but it moves forward with dhakka that means on human power but no moving on machine power.
Guyz Plz help me and tell wat to do in this condition and guess the problem that could have happened.this tragedy happened on Sunday night.Thnx

have a mechanic check you selector and the rest of your transmission, no need to sell your ride, just get the gearbox checked, shouldn't be too expensive if you use "kabli" parts
