AC-Compressor Honda Civic 99

Dear All Assalam O Alaikum,
The compressor of my car is not working properly...when ever i turn the AC on it give noises...do i hav ti change the compressor or is there any other solution to this prob...if i got to change the compressor how much it will cost me?

Well bro the AC itself is very chilling...the sound is like the belt use to crush with something...my mechanic told me that the compressor is weak and is the sound of the compressor...so ny solutions or suggestions?
