A/C problem

Hi bros
i have cultus.during the driving whenever i stop at any signal a/c is on rpm goes to 1400 to 1500.when a/c trips rpm gets normal to 1000.it goes to 14 or 1500 and remains there when again a/c turns on.this happenes all the time.is this ok?or something wrong with the engine or with the a/c?

It is normal for the RPM to increase during the time when the compressor of the A/C is working. At the same time, you might need to look into the normal RPM of your car. Without A/C, it should be approx 600 not 1000. With A/C, a 1000 RPM is quite normal.
