Advice about sound system

hey all,
presently i have a an alpine panel , 6 cd changer and 2 front and 2 rear kenwood speakers...i plan to make some changes to my sound system as i now want to install a woofer and amplifier

could u give me some quotations and advice about what brand to choose and all...i plan to stick to my rear speakers, install 2 more speakers in the rear and get a woofer and amplifier. what brand is recommended? i heard xplod isnt good..is that true?
