Aftermarket A/C

Hey everyone. Lately I've been looking around for a car; its just been a search for right now, no word yet on when i'll buy or even consider something. But the cheaper cars seem to be the older Hondas (pre 1994), and Canadian models. The only issue with the Canadian models is that most don't have an A/C factory fitted, as there isn't a need for one.

My question(s) to you guys:
a) Can an aftermarket A/C be installed in a car without an A/C?
b) What parts would be required?
c) Can an idiot like myself do the job? (okay that one can be figured out later on, but just mention what would be the procedure of going about this)

Considering Florida heat, i really don't wish to have a car without an Air Conditioner...

oh well...i don't know exactly what prices will u be offered for an after market a/c there but i can tell u the parts.

*Compressor
*Refrigerant condenser
*Refrigerant dryer
*gas flow valves
*evaporation coils
*fan + blower
*electrical equipments (timers + fuses + trip control)
*pipes & connectors

These are least i could recall rite now..

& its a pretty tricky & technical job.. u cannot do it yourself...
