Air blockage with CNG, more mileage???

Hello All,

Please tell me, is it necessary to block air filter for good mileage in Mehran or FX. i tried to block my air filter about 75% and after some adjustment (lowering cng consumption from screw), my car gives me same pickup etc. however the cng average is the same. i am not able to understand that i lowered cng consumption (and blocked air also for a good mix) but why my mileage has not increased. why?
