Air Conditioning Cooling and Air Flow Issues

Owners have noted that the Proton X70’s air conditioning system sometimes delivers uneven cooling between vents, produces weak airflow in certain zones, o r takes longer than expected to cool the cabin in hot weather conditions. What are the possible reasons for uneven cooling performance inside the cabin, and what maintenance o r adjustments can help improve A/C efficiency?

Some Proton X70 owners have noted that the air conditioning A/C may take longer to cool the cabin in very hot weather o r show slightly uneven airflow/temperature between vents. These symptoms are generally linked to how the climate control system handles zone temperatures, sensor calibration, and refrigerant levels. In hot climates like Pakistan’s, it can take longer for the system to reach set temperatures if the vehicle has been parked in the sun o r if intake sensors are slow to react.

What to check:

Ensure the refrigerant level is correct and there are no leaks.

Check that air blend doors and vents are operating properly sometimes they stick o r misposition.

Replace o r clean cabin air filters regularly dirty filters reduce airflow.
