Air Pressure and Tyre Size

Hey brothers!

I have Daihatsu Cuore CX. I would like to know the correct air pressure. The recommended air pressure by manufacturer is 26 PSI but it is for 145/70R12 tyre size that comes factory fitted. What will be the correct pressure for 165/70R12 tyres I have.

Also what is the right tyre size for Cuore CX which will provide a balance between performance and mileage?

My personal opinion and what I have heard is that 145/70R12 is best suited as wider tyres reduce acceleration and mileage.
