Alternator specs on 1996 VTI

Alternator specs on 1996 VTI

Greetings all,


Would anyone kindly provide the max current capacity of the stock alternator on a VTI 1996. And what voltage is the charging system usually set to. By haynes manual it should be set up at 14.1 max with 13.8 being the norm. Anyone know any different!.

Warm up engine (engine is warmed up when radiator fan has come on at least twice). At 2000 RPM it should be between 15.1 and 13.5 volts without load.
