Any Experience;;;;

Dear Friends,

Please give some guidance if you have any experience

Once I was in Murree and there was a slope very straight upward. And the problem was that, there was no space from which the vehicle should be drive fast from 20-30 meters before reaching to the slope. I had to drive the car right from the bottom of the slope.
When I reach to the middle the car was not supporting by the accelator and the result was that the clutch plat became out of work. I was in trouble because I was in hurry and there was no mechanic. But finally I found the mechanic and he charge me very huge amount of money compare to the work that he did. He charged me 10,000 Rs just for making the clutch plate start working. The car was Honda City, 2006.

I am very confused how to drive on such a slope to prevent problems in future. Such as push the accelerator full and push the clutch half or how...

I will appreciate your valuable comments and if you had such an experience will welcome to share it with others

on a city with CNG you're not going to be producing much torque, which is needed when climbing steep gradients.

all you can do is slip the clutch but my advice is to do it for the least amount of time possible so that the clutch doesn't heat up too much and deteriorate even faster.

what i do is rev the nuts of the car and get up ther eas fast as possible with the clitch half way down.

god forbit your clutch dies you can still change gears, here's how:

1. at a standing start, push the car into gear and use the starter motor to get it moving.
2. once moving in 1st gear, leave the throttle for a second and the car will pop right out of gear
3. when selecting 2nd apply a little pressure to the gear stick and blip the throttle, you'll find that at approx 1000-1500 rpm the gear will engage, same can be applie dto all gears.
4. when down shifting, rev the engine to 2000-3000 rpm and apply pressure to the gear and it will engage.

this process is not advisable to use all the time but it WILL work and it WILL get you home. try avoiding too much use of the starter to get you going as it will kill the starter motor. but this is better than waiting for a tow truck and i have myself don this in both my golf and civic with no permenant damage.
