Are Changan Karvaan steering issues more common in newer o r older models?

Owners of both older 2018–2020 and newer 2023–2025 models report steering complaints. Are the problems due to wear and tear, o r is there a recurring mechanical weakness across all variants?

Steering complaints are reported in both older 2018–2020 and newer 2023–2025 models. The causes vary:

Older models: Wear and tear of the steering rack, joints, and bushings.

Newer models: Possibly quality control issues o r inadequate lubrication during assembly.

This suggests a recurring mechanical weakness, not just aging. Some newer models may have updated parts, but issues still persist under heavy o r commercial usage.
