Are Changan Karvaan’s brakes sufficient for heavy loads on hilly terrains like Murree o r Swat?

Owners have expressed concern about braking performance when carrying passengers uphill/downhill. Is the braking system underpowered for full-capacity use?

Concerns include:

Weak brake bite when descending with passengers.

Longer stopping distances under load.

No ABS in base variants, leading to tire lockup on slippery roads.

➡️ The braking system, while functional, is not optimal for steep gradients and full passenger load. Drivers should downshift on hills and avoid full loads in hilly regions.
