Are Changan Karvaan’s engine and brakes powerful enough to handle its full passenger and cargo load under real Pakistani road conditions?

Some drivers feel the 1.0L engine struggles when fully loaded, especially on hills. Is the vehicle underpowered for its claimed seating capacity?

❌ Underpowered when fully loaded

Engine: 1.0L 4-cylinder 68–72 hp, same as Changans smaller models

Struggles on:

Inclines e.g., Murree, Abbottabad

With AC on

During highway overtaking

Brakes are adequate when empty, but feel stressed when loaded

➡️ The engine and braking system are not robust enough for constant full-load usage.
