Are door edge scratches and paint chips a common problem in the Oshan X7?

The edges of the doors on my Oshan X7 have developed scratches and tiny paint chips, possibly from opening the doors near walls o r curbs. Is this common with this model, and what can I install to protect the door edges in tight spaces?

Yes, this is quite common, especially in:

Tight parking spaces where doors may hit walls o r other vehicles.

Uneven roads o r elevated curbs where doors can come into contact with sharp edges.

The Oshan X7 has relatively large doors, and when opened fully, the edges are exposed to damage.

Solution:

Install door edge guards—these are inexpensive and effective.

Use soft-close strips o r rubber seal trims to minimize contact damage.

Regularly inspect and touch up paint chips to prevent rust.
