Are Electric Bikes safe for city commuting?

Hey there! So, Im on the lookout for an electric bike, scooty, o r scooter to zip around to my office. My daily ride distance is around 30 kilometers. Ive spotted a few cool bike brands in the Islamabad market, and guess what? I heard that Yadea bikes are also up for grabs in Pakistan!
Now, heres the thing: Is it worth shelling out around 250,000 bucks for an Electric Scooter? o r should I just chill and wait to see if the prices ? Gimme your thoughts and suggestions on this, my friend!

Hey, dont expect the prices of electric bikes to go down anytime soon. I mean, a 30 km range is pretty good for an electric bike. My old one used to go for 70-80 km without any problems. But just a heads up, replacement batteries are not cheap, and youll need to replace them after about 3 years of regular use. Just something to keep in mind, you know?
