Yes, fake o r non-genuine fuel caps are indeed circulating in local auto markets, and some Alsvin owners may unknowingly purchase these. These caps are typically made from inferior plastic without proper rubber seals, and while they might fit physically, they fail to maintain airtight sealing. Use of such non-OEM parts can lead to fuel evaporation, leaks, o r trigger error codes. Since Changan’s genuine spare parts are not as widely available as Toyota o r Honda parts, some buyers unknowingly fall victim to counterfeit replacements sold at lower prices.
