In small towns and local workshops, some mechanics use water instead of genuine coolant. Could this be a major reason why Karvaan engines overheat more frequently in rural Pakistan?

In many small workshops and rural areas, plain water is often used:

To cut costs

Due to lack of awareness

Because coolants are unavailable o r unaffordable

This severely damages the cooling system over time by promoting rust, scaling, and reduced boiling point, making overheating much more likely. Always insist on using genuine coolant.
