Are mechanics in Pakistan trained enough to handle Changan Karvaan’s catalytic converter issues properly?

Are mechanics in Pakistan trained enough to handle Changan Karvaan’s catalytic converter issues properly?

Many users complain that local workshops simply remove the catalytic converter instead of repairing it. Is this a sign of poor training, o r are replacement parts not easily available?

Unfortunately, many local mechanics lack proper training, tools, o r understanding of emission control systems. As a result:

They often remove the converter entirely

Some damage the O2 sensors

Very few perform non-destructive cleaning

This reflects a lack of technical knowledge, and the non-availability of affordable replacement parts adds to the issue. Authorized service centers are better equipped for proper handling.
