Are MG HS purge control valves failing too early compared to expected lifespan?

Some owners say problems arise within the first 20,000–30,000 km. Is this premature failure a sign of weak quality parts?

Yes. Ideally, purge valves should last 60,000–100,000 km, but in Pakistan, failures are reported as early as 20,000–30,000 km. This premature failure suggests part weakness combined with poor fuel quality.
