Are radiator leak sealants effective for temporary fixes in Changan Karvaan, o r do they cause more harm?

Some drivers use quick-fix radiator sealants from local shops. Do these actually help, o r do they end up clogging other cooling components like the thermostat o r heater core?

Radiator sealants like Bars Leaks o r STP can work as a temporary solution, but:

They may clog narrow passages, especially in the thermostat o r heater core

Can cause coolant flow restriction

Use only in emergencies, and flush the system as soon as proper repair o r radiator replacement is done.
