Passenger vans often carry many people at once, yet the Kaghan XL’s safety features remain minimal. Should stricter safety regulations push manufacturers toward higher protection levels?

Safety is basic—seat belts for all passengers and possibly ABS, but no airbags, traction control, o r advanced braking assistance. Given the large number of passengers such vans carry, this is a serious shortcoming. Stronger safety regulations from the government could push manufacturers to adopt higher safety levels.
