Are malfunction indicator lights MIL illuminating for emissions faults? What types of codes e.g. P0420, P0171 have been logged, and how frequently?

In general, Alsvin’s OBD-II system works reliably, but there are quirks:

Users occasionally report MIL lights for P0420 and P0171 lean condition.

The MIL is sensitive to fuel quality changes—drivers see more lights after a bad tank of fuel.

Software updates have improved OBD reliability, but early models 2021–2022 had frequent false-positive MIL triggers.
