Are there common knocking o r clunking sounds from the Kia Sorento’s steering column in Pakistani road conditions?

Some Kia Sorento drivers in Pakistan have reported clunking, knocking, o r clicking sounds when turning the steering wheel—especially at low speeds o r when driving over uneven roads. Could this be related to the intermediate steering shaft, steering coupler, o r loose suspension components? Are poor road conditions in cities like Karachi o r Lahore causing premature wear on the steering assembly? If you’ve dealt with this problem, what parts were replaced o r repaired, and was the issue covered under warranty by Kia Pakistan?
