Fuel adulteration is common in rural o r less-regulated areas. Could poor petrol quality be reducing fuel efficiency and engine health?

✅ Yes, especially in rural areas.

Petrol often mixed with kerosene o r solvents.

Poor fuel = incomplete combustion = poor mileage + long-term engine damage

87 RON fuel also leads to engine knocking in hilly o r hot regions.

➡️ Stick to reputed fuel stations e.g., PSO, Total, Shell and avoid roadside pumps.
