Are you using regular o r premium fuel in your Changan X5, and how does it affect mileage?

Some owners experiment with fuel types. Have you seen any noticeable difference in average when using Hi-Octane vs Regular petrol?

The Changan X5 is tuned to run on regular petrol, and most users stick with it. Some have tried Hi-Octane RON 95+ and observed slightly smoother engine response and marginally better mileage around 0.5–1 km/litre. However, the cost-to-benefit ratio isn’t always worth it unless you notice knocking o r performance issues.
