I need your help in picking tires for my new corolla. Stock tires are 175/70/R13. Following are the options:-

A) 205/50/R16: +1.8%
B) 205/55/R15: +0.98%
C) 195/50/R16: +0.13%

I want to go for 16's (option A) but I have had a nightmare with 17's on my Civic which is an everyday use car and thats what the corolla is going to be. Need a tradeoff between looks and a smooth drive.

Please give your expert advice? appreciate your help as

175/70R13=575mm
205/50R15=611mm (6.26% larger)
205/55R15=607mm (5.57% larger)
195/50R16=601mm (4.52% larger)

now either you've given me an incorrect stock tyre size or the ones you want to fit are WAY too big.

please confirm and let me know because as it is the size you have claimed for stock seem to be the same size as the ones on e the vitz (infact even smaller than that)

as it is you can fit the following IF you tyres are as you have stated above:

195/45R16 (1.22% larger)
205/50R15 (1.91% larger)
185/55R15 (1.74% larger)
