Best tyres for Honda Civic Exi 2005?
Best tyres for Honda Civic Exi 2005?
Dear All,
i hope you all are well.
I am going on a trip to Naran from Karachi, by road. So I think it's a good time to finally get rid of the tyres and rims I have i.e. General tyres, 185/65/14 that came with the car.
I am now looking for 195/65/15 with alloy rims.
I checked the market and found 4 brands to be attractive i.e. Bridgestone, Michelin, Yokohama and Good Year. I was shown a particluar Bridgestone model, Turanza GR-80 which according to the internet reviews is very good.
Can someone please tell me,
1- Are the Turanza GR-80s excellent, really good, good, bad?
2- Any other tyres i can use?
3- Which rims are good?
I am looking for a tyre that is as wide as possible (for my car, without loss of performance) has a really good road grip, is comfortable (soft) and doesn't slip on dry or wet roads.
I would really appreciate your suggestions. Thanks & regards.

There are others who'll suggest you on the tyre type. All I know is the if you increase your tyre size from 14 to 15, the speedometer reading will err approximately 4 kmph at the speed of 120kmph,
In other words, you'll be going at 124 kmph, and the speedometer will show 120. So be careful on the motorway. Don't earn a challan.
