Broke CAT converter.wat to do?

guys my dad hit my car sumwhere frm beneath nd the now there is sumthing broken inside the catalystic converter its a city idsi....the sound is like rattling frm inside of it....i dnt know wat to do..i took it to a cylincer guy n he said i wud cut it n take the "jaali" out,that wud fix it...but im afraid that is this the proper method in this case?he wud cut it wid a gas torch,wudnt the intence heat damage the sensor inside the catalystic converter? i dnt want the check engine light to b on for ever... help me guy....need an advice badly...

we over at the "vitz owner club" take out the cat on purpose. the break the jale inside and take out all the broken pieces and packing. well my engine light was already on when i got my CNG fitted.

according to what i know the Cat wont break that easily, its made of this ceramic type of thing. may be something else is broken. may be the silencer got loose, happened to me before.
