Burning smell inside the car

Few days back I noticed some oil leakage just outside the gear box of my margalla. Took it to a mechanic, who took 2 hours and charged me 400 bucks saying that the problem had been fixed.

When I drove the vehicle, I noticed that its clutch setting was out, the peddle was almost touching the floor, took it back to mechanic who fixed it.

After two days, now I sometimes sense some light burning smell while driving the car. It comes out occasionally, not always. I don't sniff any smell when I stop the vehicle and come outside.

I wonder, what is wrong now, what should I do?

Any ideas?
