Buying new Car at this time of Year !!!

Hi guys

I will be buying a new Corolla Xli in this month.

Does it make any difference, i mean resale value of 2006 model and 2007 model. Or is there any possilblity in change
of shape of Xli in 2007 model.

I would apprecite a quick response.

Explaining it to you in detail with my personal Decisions:-

Case 1:-
Lemme Tell You My Decision!
I was getting a delivery in December of Cultus VXR. But I dropped the idea of getting the car right now and have asked the show room guy to book the Alto VXR. but he said you will get its delivery in December too. He offered me he can make the model 2007 But the Manufacturing Year would be 2006. I am not sure whether they write Year Of Manufacture or Model of Car. But my semester will end in January so I made a safe decision to get it in January 2007. I made this deal because I will keep this car for couple of Months and sell it off.
Decision should be yours.

2nd Case:-
We got our Exi Prosmetic in November 2005 and Registered it in January 2006 . We were fined some k`s , which I dont remember exactly was for not registering it on Time..

3rd Case:-
My Driver got his Yamaha 100 Cc from Show Room in December But he asked that Show room Guy not to cut any invoice for the Bike. In january He got the invoice of the bike . Thus he registered his bike in 2006 and showed the invoice of 2006 . Thus the bike is now registered in 2006 and Model is 2006 too.
