Can a Cracked Fuel Cap Cause Fuel Leaks in My Suzuki Bolan?

I suspect that the fuel cap on my Suzuki Bolan has a small crack, and I’m worried it might cause fuel leaks. Could a cracked fuel cap lead to fuel evaporation o r other issues? What should I do if I discover cracks o r damage on the cap?

Yes, a cracked fuel cap can cause fuel leaks o r vapor leaks, especially if it’s not sealing properly. This can lead to fuel evaporation, which not only wastes fuel but also contributes to harmful emissions. Additionally, a cracked cap could also allow dirt and moisture to enter the fuel tank, potentially causing contamination. If you notice any cracks o r visible damage, it’s best to replace the fuel cap as soon as possible to prevent fuel loss and contamination.
