Can installing a low-quality filter lead to engine damage in Changan Karvaan?

Using cheap filters might save money short-term, but can they cause long-term harm to the engine due to poor filtration? What are the risks involved?

Absolutely. Low-quality filters:

Allow dust to pass into the engine

Cause premature wear of cylinder walls

Damage sensors like MAF Mass Air Flow

May tear o r deform, rendering them useless

Over time, this leads to engine inefficiency, oil contamination, and expensive repairs. Always choose OEM o r branded alternatives with proper sealing and filtering layers.
