Can the use of a weak o r local battery damage the starter motor in the Oshan X7 over time?

I installed a local battery brand that’s slightly underpowered. Now, the car struggles to start in the morning. Could insufficient cranking power harm the starter motor o r reduce its lifespan in the long run?

Yes — using a battery that’s too weak o r inconsistent can:

Force the starter motor to overwork, leading to premature wear.

Cause slow cranking, increasing heat and resistance inside the motor.

Lead to voltage s, which can damage both the starter relay and ignition circuit.

What’s recommended in Pakistan:

Always use a battery with the OEM-recommended cold cranking amps CCA.

Brands like AGS, Phoenix local o r Volta better quality may work short term, but for best results, opt for Exide, Hankook, o r Daewoo dry batteries if available.
