Can u help me out?

hi guys i just wanted little help.
i have a nissam maxima model 91. its is automatic. there are 2 buttons in my cars which i have no clue about
1. over drive
2. power or comfort

my over drive is ussaully on and other one comfort is usually on. but what does that mean what if i use power instead of comfort. does it effects engine or fuel econmy.

Over drive in an auto tranmission is mostly used for highway cruising , when the car is in top gear at high speed , the over drive decreases the load on the engine by reducing the rpm of the engine so the car can travel at high speed with less load on the engine.

Comfort or Econo mode in auto tranny is moslty used for city driving and the engine uses less fuel whereas the Power mode is used when u want get the most out of the engine i.e more perfomance then Comfort mode but engine uses more fuel.
