Car Audio system for Honda City

hi, i am planning to install a high-tech system to city 2005. I was almost going to purchase the complete package that contained 1000watts bridgeable Amplifier but someone told me to first check the impact of battery and performance of bettery before installing it. Any sugesstions? recommendations? thanks
