Car Starting without Unplugged IAC Valve?

Im curious to know if its possible for a Suzuki Cultus EFI 2010 to start even when the IAC valve is unplugged. Additionally, I would like to understand the reasoning behind this scenario

If youve got a 3-wire rotary type valve and its still allowing air to pass through even when the connector is disconnected, you might wanna consider replacing the rubber seal on that boy. It sounds like the seal might be worn out o r damaged, causing the air leakage. Getting a new seal should do the trick and solve the issue.
