man i got installed intake in my alto vxr 2007 and it work veryyyy good on petrol..........not bad on cng....

nice to see that you have done this but near me there are some questions in my mind , i would like to share those with you too.
installing the air intake like this is near about useless in CNG , why ? bcz it will give more trouble and will need frequent CNG tunings too.
secondly , u know the atmosphere and climatic conditions of our country, so much dust and obviously if u have an OPEN (all side open) intake thn it will for sure suck the air (with dust) and the filter will get clogged in no time, as compared to the stock one with the manifold in that !
third thing , if u will not clean your air filter frequently then for sure u will have degraded performance and chances of that the dust particles will go in the combustion chamber as well as in the head, may cause damage.
one more thing : you know by doing this you are actually feeding your engine the HOT AIR , in ALTO you know the hot air which decipates from the engine / headers etc and coz the air is HOT it always go in up direction and because of the BONUT it gathered there for a time and right from there your open intake will suck the same HOT air and the result in the face of degraded performance in long run (not in the short run) whn ur engine is not that much hot.
remember cooler the air , better the performance.
one last thing for using this in CNG setup, make your fan always on (radiator fan) not because your car is getting hot but there is another reason of that.

it is good to install this one in a clean atmosphere and for a short time (racing cars) those always use in racings.
