City 1999 Engine Upgradation

Hello all,

Just to share with you guys that last week I got my City 1999 upgraded from 1.3 Carb to 1.5 EFI. The engine I got is D15B. Sorry I didnt have my camera with me during the process so no pics. Over all I have mixed feeling about it. The whole process is real pain in a**. To much modifications in wiring. The biggest problem, which I never anticipated, was installation of fuel pump in tank. It takes a lot of machining and cutting. I havnt tuned the engine yet and its currently running as is. Gave me 13.5 km/l on motorway fully loaded with A/C on. total conversion costed me Rs 25 k. I am using the original tranny.

Performance is very good. Lots of low end torque. I havnt tried CNG yet because I want to get it set in petrol first.
