CIVIC VTI 99........Sensors

Dear All,
There are 02 sensors on throttle body.......can any one tel me that how and what they work ??????

im not sure on what kind of info u are looking for, but this is what i know about these sensors.

They are there to check the quality of air being sucked in by the engine.the sensors measure the density of air and also the quantity of Oxygen ( they r sumtimes called O2 sensors too) . They feed this data into the cars ECU, which adjusts the fuel supply according to the quantity and quality of air, this is done for precision of delivering fuel to get the maximum fuel economy and performance.
