Civic wheels heating up, handbrake inactive:

Salaam @ all.

I have a 03 Vti Automatic with 90k km on it. After the car runs for a while, the wheels get really hot. Also, the parking brake is hard to pull. So I lifted each wheel up one by one with the jack.

Front wheels:

Left & right are both hard to move (gear in N & handbrake down) especially if comparing to the same test conducted on my Corolla Automatic.

Rear wheels:

The left one is free, both with the parking brake up & down. However, the right wheel is hard to move, and locks when the parking brake is applied, as it should.

So what I want to know is why the front wheels are "jammed". The handbrake is certainly faulty and that explains the left wheel not locking and possibly the right wheel overheating. But why are the front wheels getting excessively hot when run and so hard to move when the gear is in Neutral.

Please help and advise.

Thanks.

Brake pads are touching your disks, your brakes are not free, thats why your wheels are getting hot, rims hot too, right ?
