Clutch plate issue

I own a Mazda 323 1978 model, had gone an engine overhaul recently. Problem is I have replace the clutch and pressure plate, but car still knocks like anything when u start to move it. Also it shooks during shifting from 2nd to 3rd. It feels annoying, and my mechanic cannot find the reason, can anyone help around?

Eliminate the simplest prob first.......check setting of clutch cable.

If possible ask another mechanic to check. There may be some issues here but check with the settings first.
