Clutch plates confusion..

today i installed zex 3tip high performance spark plugs.. splitfire 10.2mm wires and muffler.. pick is increased obviously but i also came to know that my clutch plates pressure plates are out of date and not working okay like engine runs at high RPM and it dont run like sounds coming oout mechanic said that clutch plate is slipping he said *Car Uthti Nai Hai*.. i wanted to ask if i changed them with new will this procedure increase the pick more??

simple my question is that, do bad clutch plates, pressure plates effect car's pick or speed????
