CNG - Tapping the intake

CNG - Tapping the intake

Dear all,
Why carb cars have there intake pipe tapped for better CNG tuning? If a car is taking more air causing inappropriate air-gas mixture, why do not we just increase the CNG input to balance it out?
Please suggest logical reasons for this?

If you read abt ventury or take a look in HowStuffWorks - Learn How Everything Works! for the answer, you will get the detail reply.

In short air fuel mixture best point is on the narrowest point (designed) before intake where appropriate (for alternate fuel, CNG, LPG, LNG or Hydrogen) to get better performance.

If you need more details, plz email me....
